Travelling from Stokesley to Wainstones Shepherds Hut
Follow the B1257 towards Helmsley/Bilsdale/Chop Gate. One mile past Clay Bank top you’ll see on your left a red post box and a left turn on a small slip road. You are just one minute away. Take this road and follow it up to the top and around the 90° right bend, look out for the Shepherds hut signs!
Wainstones Shepherds Hut is situated behind the property called Wainstones Barn, the last house on the left.
Travelling from Helmsley to Wainstones Shepherds Hut
Follow the B1257 towards Stokesley/Bilsdale/Chop Gate. Drive straight through Chop Gate itself, you will pass The Buck Inn in the middle of the village. Immediately after leaving the village look for a signpost for St Hilda’s Church on your right. You are two or three minutes away! Take this turning and follow the road up, you will pass the church and keep going-there is a stretch of road with no buildings at all then you will stumble upon Wainstones Barn on your right.
